Our business ethos is centred around producing a world-leading product whilst maintaining exceptional animal handling. We respect our custodianship of the environment in which our cattle are raised. At Stone Axe Pastoral we recognise our climate impact and produce our beef in a way that benefits generations to come. Currently we are undertaking several key sustainability initiatives including emissions monitoring, methane reducing feed additives, maintaining emission reducing beef management practices and use of renewable energy.
Communities
Stone Axe Pastoral Company is focused on keeping our rural communities thriving. We do this by sponsoring local events such as campdrafts, dog trials, school trips, sporting teams and many more. Sponsorships are subject to our selection criteria.
We also recognise that investing in our people is vital in supporting the local community. Our organisation offers traineeships, university graduate programs, mentoring and opportunities to develop future leaders in the Australian agriculture industry.
